## Steps
1. Navigate to RubyGems homepage: navigate browser address bar showing https://rubygems.org/ → "https://rubygems.org/"
2. Click the search input to focus it: click large white search bar in center with placeholder "Search Gems..."
3. Type the gem name into the search field: type focused search input "Search Gems..." → "{{gem_name}}"
4. Submit the search: keypress magnifying glass search icon at right end of search bar → "Enter"
5. Open the matching gem from results: click first search result link with gem name "{{gem_name}}" and description underneath

## Success check
Gem detail page for {{gem_name}} is displayed showing the latest version number, release date, version count, and download statistics.
